Looking for solutions in deer infested shade. Planted one last fall and it seems to survive (leaves intact as of the end of may and it just grew a flowerspike!) Very hopeful

But I can’t seem to find a lot of the shrubs he mentioned. Particularly the dwarf willows, Salix occidentalis or Salix humilis. Any suggestions?
