I have rotten my cactus once again for the second time in 4 years. This was my gma’s cactus and came with me once she passed. I am crying every single time I see a leaf drop. I changed soil with peat and perlite. I am never good on the water distribution. She survived the first root rot and hoping she survives this second one. I just purchased TPS plat foods Christmas Cactus Fertilizer. If anyone has any tips or feedback I would appreciate it

I am keeping soil dry, but I think too dry. I am spraying leaves with water to keep moist and soil on the dry side but I think I am doing it incorrectly… !

On getting your attention through comments, love the new home page with one exception – anyway to provide a login (I did not see one) so those who have done a virtual garden club webinar series can access the webinars to listen again. I have had trouble finding them on the website. Thank you.

All your information is going to help me and my sister here in California, with our plant. Which we absolutely love. My CCP, has not grown, has bloom, twice. I will change soil add back pieces.
What about socking orange peels overnight in water. And watering?
