My husband and I created a “grove” of oak trees in our northern DE location. I named them Scooby, Velma, and Shaggy–yes, I’m of that age. :) We have gifted other saplings to friends and family.

I thoroughly enjoyed her book. She is an excellent writer and very fine illustrator. I now know what my gardening friend is getting for Christmas. I hope to read her other books.

Every time I visit or see a plant on a walk around the property, I retrieve the story behind it and relive the experience. I live and garden in PA.
