When I was young my big brother would grow these.

I have been growing Armenian cucumbers (melons) for many years in the summer because they thrive in the Arizona heat along with other melons, okra, blackeyed peas, lima beans and eggplant/peppers (with shade cloth). Most other “summer” vegetables cannot take the heat. We do have a fantastic fall/winter/spring growing season.

I did not know there were other C. Melo cucumber varieties and promptly ordered seeds from Jay.

I just ordered some Striped Carosello Leccese and can’t wait to enjoy them this summer!
