I also am very interested in growing herbs and am very intrigued about making my own dressings. Right now my dressing are usually a store bought flavored vinegar. I will be checking out Justin’s site to learn more. Thank you so much!

I use Marcella Hazan’s oil to vinegar ratio (3 to 1) with EV Olive Oil, apple cider or wine vinegar with a splash of balsamic, and a 1/2 teaspoon of salt. I mix up 2 cups worth and have it on hand for a basic salad dressing that I can shake up and have ready in moments. It is easy to add herbs and other seasonings to individual batches to liven things up.

This one I played for my husband who likes to cook. Justin inspires him to try these salads and tartines. I’m always increasing the number of vegetable beds in my garden. believe it is the first year I’ve sown peas, and I’m deciding between cutting for pea shoots, or growing for harvest.
I’d like to win the cookbook.
