Thanks, Melissa. I have in warmer zones seen the impact of ornamental grasses gone astray. And I do have some of the natives (including naturally occurring little bluestem, which was here when I got here and long before). IN all the years with the Asian species, I have never encountered a single seedling, thankfully (probably they flower too late here to complete the cycle successfully, don’t know). I have read that in the mid-Atlantic there is more invasion (first saw it in California eons ago).
