I enjoyed listening to your podcast and watching YouTube about preparing the garden.
I want to do the no-dig that you talked about, it sounds more natural. My soil is very dry and sandy. Have been used Cedar Compost but kept digging the soil. I would love to read your book for help in keeping compost and if/when to pull weeds.
I fluffed the soil this winter and more weeds are growing. Last year I had none because I was not able to work the garden.

I garden without digging in raised beds. I apply compost in the spring and fall and mulch the beds in the winter.

No dig. In the fall I topdress with compost and use a hard rake to rake it in a little. That’s it.
