Thanks, Jack, for the workaround tip!

I have a Toro blower-vac and found it cumbersome when vacuuming leaves. This year I got a little smarter and used the blower to pile the leaves. Then I set up the Toro to vacuum the leaves but instead of strapping the vacuum on me I laid the vacuum on the ground and raked the leaves into the collector tube. This worked well for me and was less tiring.

I suspect you’d have to blow the leaves off the bed onto a surface like lawn, then vacuum from there, no?
