I planted in November in southeast Wisconsin last year, I used cloves from a large bulb I had purchased at a farmers market. I didn’t know what kind it was but it looks like the hardneck type you described.
I told my neighbor about growing it and she has 8 very healthy looking plants.
I am now patiently waiting for my harvest.
Thanks again for all of the tips on growing my own garlic.

Please provide details on how to feed garlic. Thank you.
