Growing up I was a suburbs kid, my family is however deeply rooted in various agri industries through the centuries ( I’m an Irish ex-pat living in Eastern Ontario now, having spent the better part of 10 years apartment dwelling in Toronto prior to today).

This conversation with Niki, has blown my mind, and awakened me to all the opportunities that await in my garden this year. Last Spring we planted a haphazard veggie patch with surprisingly okish results. We did very little research and didn’t put in much effort nor had the time too. It was more an experiment for us and the kids.

This year we have all the time! Peas, carrots, spinach, cucumbers all at the top of my list fr succession. Do you have any other recommendations? Potatoes? Broccoli? Flowers?
