And then APS has the “Lucky Dip” seed madness in March! This is when non-members also can order seeds; there’s always lots of varieties still available.

Lots of sugar and small amount of seeds. Then I broadcast them in the flat, ground or winter seeding container. The sugar lets me see where I ‘sprinkled’ AND it just naturally thins the seeding. Then when the seeds sprout the seedling plants are not ‘packed’ in soPauthick. This makes it much easier and MUCH more successful in moving the plants to there finial growing location.

Ken joined the society in the past year but didn’t order seed….I wondered why. I manage the seed exchange and we receive Primula seed from all over the world. You can order up to 20 packets as an APS member for a very small cost. Check out the past years list here…. https://americanprimrosesociety.org/seed-list/ The next exchange will open in mid-December. Give the society a try!
