My refuge, replenishment, refreshment. After fifty-one years here, in Northern California, the trees around the edges are huge, the additions soothing: a curving red brick path, a lovely plain redwood fence at the back, both glowing in the morning light. Some plants, like Bluebells, reappear annually, ever since we moved here. The rose garden holds the bluejays favorite bird bath, the perennial garden another. More inspiration is welcome.

Wonderful to see them in person!

Anyone that has one of these pots has a will have a conversational piece and will give the people something to talk about.
