Enjoyed watching the bees and wasps in this beautiful bed, which is so much prettier than the sterile lawn. Will rent the sod cutter again this fall to enlarge this mini meadow and my other garden beds. Leaving the perennials and grasses, and leaves in the beds, which is a different winter look compared to the crew cuts I have given them in the past. Have had a gardening revolution, which has been fun and exciting. Thank you so much.

Anything I really have to trim gets cut to a height still useful to pollinating insects and I stack many of the longer stems for use. Always need to learn more and bumble bees are a favorite so I’m very interested in Heather Holmes’s book on bees.

This is not what I bargained for, much as I would like to help the bees. Anyone have any thoughts?
