I thought pine cones. Then I thought you ding ding junipers don’t have cones like that. It was pretty well decimated. I used it as a good reason to remove it. Didn’t like it. But after that I watched my arborvitaes carefully and handpick the little buggers. First time one of those poisonous green colored catapiller stuck it’s head out I let out a screech and almost fell off the ladder. Always providing entertainment for the neighbors.
