We have a pond and a tub that will have heaters to keep a hole in the ice if it forms which helps the birds as well as the fish.

We would love the book. There is a very noisy jay that flies around our house and robs peanuts. He watches for them.

Would love to figure out a way to incorporate a heater to keep it going in winter. My traditional bird bath uses a trough heater but the cleanup is arduous, though important!
