Thank you for your article on invasives. I had an explosion of lesser celandine in my favorite shade bed. I spent weeks pullng out the tubers and little seeds. It was hard work. I expect I made a dent in it, but will have to do the same in early April. No one I knew had ever heard of this weed.

Pam

I was introduced to you when you spoke at our Western MA Master Gardeners symposium a number of years ago. You gave each of us in the auditorium a bean seed. The power of a seed. Thank you, Margaret, for each weekly publication, book & your podcast. You have great guests. I’m a faithful reader/listener. This past June I finally had the opportunity to view your Open Garden day.
Now I realize I’m not the only one with those #*%##% Asian jumping worms.
Thank you for all the practical knowledge, putting things into perspective & making me smile. Keep cool!

I lived on Long Island , had only been here less than 5 years, with a whole new growing zone and climate. This was exactly how I was feeling. I still do, though rarely nowadays. I did learn this year that I will never again let anyone talk me into volunteering to have my property on a gardening tour – with an imposed deadline. Too much pressure.
