Eventually I researched more, and discovered some non-soil options. You can grow micro greens on coir type mats, which I found a bit simpler. I didn’t love that the mat seemed to be a single use, although it can be composted. But others might like to try it as a dirt-free option.

So once you cut your microgreens, they won’t grow back again, correct? That tray is done? Could you sow another batch of seeds in that same tray & soil?
